Professional background

Having undertaken courses in both Reflexology and Sports & Remedial Massage, she decided to further enhance her knowledge of anatomy and biomechanics by studying Osteopathy at the London School of Osteopathy where she graduated with a Masters in Osteopathy.

Stephanie is committed to continuing professional development and regularly attends postgraduate courses to keep her skills up to date. Her postgraduate qualifications include Cranial Osteopathy. She also followed a 2-year course specialisation in Paediatric Osteopathy at the Osteopathic Centre for Children, London where she has had the opportunity to work under the supervision of an experienced paediatric team, treating children who present with a wide variety of conditions, from the common (such as colic, reflux, flat head syndrome, glue ear) to special needs (autism, cerebral palsy, Down’s Syndrome). During that time she also treated babies and children in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit within two local London teaching hospitals.

Her paediatric exposure and experience in treating special needs children over the past few years has led her to become a Tomatis® Practitioner.

More recently she underwent a specialised training to address symptoms of Chronic Fatigue Syndrome / Myalgic Encephalomyelitis (CFS/ME) with Dr. Raymond Perrin and is now registered as a licensed Perrin Technique Practitioner.

She also developed an interest in Ergonomics and how posture at a computer can affect your whole musculoskeletal system. As a qualified Display Screen Equipment assessor, she will be happy to offer you her expertise in your office or home.

Learning the arts of manual therapies has not only transformed her personal growth but has also given her greater insight and understanding into the types of problems her patients commonly have. Using a variety of techniques she is able to help them by relieving their pain as well as offering advice on rehabilitation, recovery, relaxation, and wellbeing.

She strongly believes that an integrated approach to musculoskeletal pain is the way to ensure patients get the correct treatment and management.

Stephanie is registered with the General Osteopathic Council and is also a member of the British Osteopathic Association and London Osteopathic Society.
